Course Inspections During Periods Of Bad Weather
During periods of weather which are severe enough to cause full or partial course closures, a course inspection takes place every day at first light. This inspection cannot be completed until it is fully light, so the course status on this website and on the information line cannot be updated until approximately 15 minutes after sunrise. Follow THIS LINK to a website which shows sunrise times for Birmingham, from which you can work out when the course status will be published during these periods.
UPDATE - Members who have registered their email address with us now receive course status updates automatically via email as soon as the status is updated.
